Hi,
A new Firmware Version ist out since 28th January 2010.
Someone tried it?
Or has some information about fixes and new features (changelog)?

I have just installed this FW and it seems to work fine.
ASUS WL-500W firmware in English/simple Chinese/traditional Chinese/German/Kroean
1.The version is for 802.11n standard upgrade only
2.Recommend upgrade firmware by wired connection.
I think the reason for this new FW version is to make the router fully 802.11n compliant.
The router is only draft 802.11n from Asus, because it was made before 802.11n ratified. But now 802.11n has been ratified, so I think this FW was made to make the router full 802.11n compliant.
Asus offered a money back guarantee if the router would not be made fully 802.11n compliant after the standard was ratified.

Yes i think you are right.
i had hoped that they will update the Kernel too, but they didn`t.
So far, there is no reason for me to change from an well workin Oleg FW to 3.0.0.9

yes, I was hopeful for a second till I opened up the source:p
in the end oleg firmware is the best firmware evur!:D

I tryed but I had 3 restarts in 24h with loosing of parameters (router goes back to default state).I go back to 2.0.0.6. and no issues.

Loosing parameters and Settings was the main reason for me to switch to Oleg Firmware.
