Is it possible to remove and use the miniPCI card of the WL500G on a laptop computer? Which drivers should be used?

Also, Can the router still be used? (without the wireless part)
i.e.: Does the wan/ethernet routing, USB and parallel port work?

thanks.

Yes, AFAIK the wireless part is the same as the asus WL-120g card. The router can work without it and the other stuff still works if the card is removed.

thanks for your reply.
Do you know if the mini-pci card can be inserted into a free slot of a laptop?
does it work there?

the card used in the wl500g IS a WL120g

and therefor uses the same drivers as the Asus WL120g / WL100g / WL103b / WL100g Deluxe, linksys WPC54g
etc etc etc

you can just put it in a free minipci port
