I have a Lacie disk 1tb connected to my WL-500gP.
I can see all files from explorer in Vista but I cannot move, delete or paste any files. What can I do ?
I use the newest Asus firmvare.

it can be 2 things: the guest account of the samba, is not the same as the admin account
OR
the files need to be chmodded
the easiest way is to do that via FTP, because most ftp clients can select every file on the disk, instead of one
just chmod it to full access:D

Thank you for your answer. What is chmodded ?
When am I supposed to use the password made under USB application/ User list.
Im never prompted for a password to get into the files either via explorer or via ftp.
If i right click the files in explorer I don't get permissions to change the user rights.

I'm mapping by \\192.168.1.1\share. Partitions formatted as ext3 permit read/write. Partitions formatted as NTFS are read-only. No need of chmodding so far.
