Remove MiniPCI Card from WL500g

Hello,

is it possible to remove the WLAN Card without
damaging other devices ?
I want to remove the WLAN MiniPCI Card because of
thermal stability in office environment.
For booting then i do not load the module for the
WLAN card....

Does anybody have experiences with that ?
