I have a question about which firmware could be the best for me?
I am using the wl500g with firmware 1.6.5.3
*memory stick (64 mb) as ftp server (not very intensly),
*using the wlan (medion 40100 intersil nitro) as access point (60% signal),
*just bought a 2.5¨ external hd (60gb)
*sharing the access point with my neighbor (having 20% signal!)
I have watched the chupa forum for some time. I am not into linux.
Somewhere I have read the range of the signal is shortened. Range is important because of the poor signal at my neigbor.
Hope to receive some good tips.
