Is router firewall sufficient?

Hello,

My "network" is as following
1 Desktop linked through Ethernet to wl-500g
1 laptop linked through wifi.

I have activated the router firewall?
As a beginner, i just put Yes.

1- Do you have a tutorial available to configure this firewall (a little more explicit than the user guide)?
2- if well configured, do I need to keep the firewall on my desktop?

I keep the fw on the laptop as I connect on other networks sometimes.

yes, it's recomended to use personal firewalls on every PC.
