Dear all,
I am using a time limitted ADSL connection (Wanadoo, in France, 20h/month).
I would like to know if there is a way to run a script to shut-down the internet connection when I don't need it and turn on when I wand to use it... But I would still like to use the router for the network, Network attached storage and printer sharing.
I was wondering if some idle function would work, but when I look on the packets, it seems that a lot of application make some request on the internet, and i don't want to turn the internet on when each application is checking something on the internet.
Thanks
JF
