Hello,
I upgraded to the latest orginal Asus firmware and want to go back to Olegs one. No matter if I install it with the web GUI or with TFTP. As soon as I want to connect nothing happens and the log shows 2 pages with CPU data and other hardware data.
- settings are the same (settings.cfg)
- I restarted the router (even installed in recovery mode)
- Reset
- Factory defaults and entered my data manually
nothing helped. What's wrong :confused::(

I upgraded to Orig. v1.9.7.7 again to use the internet, but it'd be really nice to use Samba and so on again.

http://oleg.wl500g.info/1.9.2.7-10/WL500gp-1.9.2.7-10.zip is not working with WL500gp!
Even tried flashing with clearnvram/recover, still not able to connect: Log shows mac address and redirection to 10.112.112.112 (never heard of that one).
Disappointing :eek:

try to turn of IPv6 support in oleg?
or if you don't have it turned on, just turn it on:p
I have a random feeling it has something to do with that
btw... did you do a factory default after upgrading to another firmware?

As said in the first post, I used factory defaults. But I think I found a workaround here: http://wl500g.info/showthread.php?t=14257
Same problem, same log there, but they say it helps to set PPPoE Idle Disconnect Time to 0. Problem is that I want to use this feature and want my connection disconnected after 10min inactivity.
Anyone one heard sth. from Oleg about this issue? Will it ever be fixed?
