Hello,

I've installed and configured samba... If I connect to my usb HDD from a notebook in my netowork using local notebook admin's account everything works fine and I am able to open \\[my IP]\[share directory]

But... If I login to my notebook using domain network account from my work domain I am not able to open share directory beause Guest account is shown to log on?

Does anybody know how to change my settings? Is the problem in Samba or in my notebook settings?

Thanks for any help

Ondrej

if you map a network drive in windows xp you can also provide a username and password. You probably overlooked that option.

I have the same issue, and still no success.
Now I have the default samba (firmware), but also with samba 2 I had no success.
With a non domain PC (VISTA) I can access my shared folders with samba.
Please let me know if you have another suggestion.

Thank you
