Hi there...
So I've installed my ASUS router, and upgraded it to Oleg's firmware (1.9.2.7-10).
When using my normal PC (Ubuntu 8.04 x64 / Vista), I have no problem connecting to the internet through the router, no matter what protocol I use.
BUT when I log on to the router via putty, I cannot connect to the internet, not even ping eg. www.google.com.
However it is possible to ping my ADSL-modem (Linksys), as well as access the webinterface of both the modem and the router.
It's just not possible to establish a connection directly from the router.
Any ideas on how to deal with this?
Thanks,
David Larsen.
BTW. setup:
Modem (Linksys 192.168.1.1) --> Router (ASUS 192.168.1.2) --> Switch/PC's (192.168.1....)
