MySQL support: NO. HELP

I created a web server via thttpd, and also tryed lighttpd. Everything good, but i want to install news system "Datalife Engine", and i need MySQL, so i created an external MySQL, but then installing "Datalife Engine" writes: Support MySQL:NO, and i cant to connect to external mySQL. What to do?

but installing mysql to your box shouldn't be any problem tho:)
