Hello,

I wish to use a WL500G in client mode, and connect to a remote AP using 802.1x with TTLS authentication. So I need a supplicant software...
From a previous post ( http://wl500g.info/showthread.php?t=967 ) I assume that "nas" is the tool to use... but I don't know how to use it... It would be something like:
nas -S -m 1 ... (+ what else?)

Here's the config I need to use:
SSID (Network Name): private_net
EAP type: SecureW2
Verify server certificate: (deactivate)
Use anonymous for outer authentication: (deactivate)
Authentication: PAP
(I also have a username + password).

The remote administrator recomends to use the program "secureW2" on WinXP... but I would prefer to have the router connect "by it's own"...
http://www.securew2.com/uk/
(they announced that SecureW2 will be available as open source. SecureW2 is scheduled to become Open Source by the beginning of next year...)

regards.

It's unlikely, that nas supports this. You may need to compile wpa_supplicant.

I think I have a similar problem :
I want to have a wds network and 802.1x/TLS users authentication
I found 802.1x/TLS authentication to work (using freeradius) well but when 802.1x is set-up, my two routers (wiley 1927-4 and wiley dx 1927-5) don't established the WDS link to each other.

Is there something to do to have wds working with 802.1x or should I have to make a choice between the two ?

EDIT : WPA over WDS. Did someone noticed/tryed that :http://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?pid=7561 (looking at the post from sbingner)
