Here's an interesting tidbit:
The Epson RX500 mulifunction photo printer has a built-in card reader.
If the router is rebooted while connected to the printer and the printer has some sort of memory card in the card reader, the 500g will set up FTP access to the card.
The printer allows scans directly to the card--so now the scanner can be used in a bit of a roundabout manner--scan to card, and then FTP to card.
Does anyone know how this situation may affect setting up a remote storage disk? Can more than one device be set up as storage? Will I have to ensure that the disk is "initialized" before a card is inserted in order for the disk to be able to be accessed via ftp and samba?
Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
Darren
