Please can somebody help me? I have this FW http://www.bud-net.org/soft/asus/OpenWRT_WL500_mod/0.6.3%20-%20stable/
because I need client mode and simultaneously cable modem on WAN port, this combination doesn't work on Oleg's FW. But with OpenWRT FW doesn't work printer on lpt port. Does somebody know the solution how to connect to Asus WL500 printer, cable modem in WAN port and switch Asus in to client mode?
I'm sorry for my english

Why do you need cable modem and client mode at the same time?

Ok, I see. I'm suggestin you to post your question in the openwrt.org forum - there are several wl500g users there, and probably they've working parport drivers.
Openwrt uses different toolchain, so I could not help you.

AFAIK it's possible to use the Asus modules with openwrt. You have to copy parport.o and parport_splink.o and insmod them. This can be done with a new init script.

Perhaps you also have to recompile the openwrt kernel with parport support.
