Setting up Irssi

I just installed irssi, but when i try to start i get following messages:



[admin@FUCKYOU etc]$ irssi
NO WINDOWS: -!- Irssi: Transliterations not supported in this system
NO WINDOWS: -!- Irssi: Invalid charset: CP1252


Anybody know this problem, i can´t find infos about :confused:

irssi now is running, i missed to install perl.

can you specify? having microperl installed it gives the same errors with irrssi. do we need to install the full package perl - 5.8.8-17 ?

for your information, installin the full perl package is the solution
