ik probeer mijn webcam en all-in-one printer via usb aan te sluiten, maar geen van de twee werkt.

Webcam : logitech quickcam express met usb
Printer : lexmark x1170 via usb

Kan iemand me verder helpen?

Thx

Jan

I tried to connect my webcam and all-in-one printer via usb, but none of them would work.
I use
Webcam : logitech quickcam express via usb
and
Printer : lexmark x1170 via usb

I did not succeed in finding a remote port ,as mentioned in the manual. The advices of putting the port number on 9101 or using LSRServer doesn't help me any further.

I have firmware 1.8.1.9 and
printer sharing server 1.2.3.0

I have also a second problem : connecting wireless
with my laptop(IBM A22m) there isn't a problem at all, nevertheless when I try to connect with the same card but this time on a Dell laptop, I do not succeed in connecting, he even doesn't find the asus router.I checked already the right driver.

Does someone has an idea?

Thanks
Jan

read the faq, it explains how to setup printing port for NON custom firmwares..

please check the Reported Compatible Hardware forum to check if your webcam is at the list with WORKING or NON WORKING

just read it is not that hard

for setting up LPRserver: 981
be sure to uninstall all Asus print stuff first

RCH can be found here:

as you say you can't setup the port, I think you are confusing stuff. perhaps your printer is not supported at all by official firmware..

thanks for the help, but I had done all this already, and it didn't work.
and the printer wasn't mentioned in the list of working or not-working, so therefore this question.
thanks anyway

Well, you can probably try other drivers, including native Windows drivers for your printer or similar device. You need drivers, which are capable to run with networked printer.
