Shareaza

Shareaza makes my Wl500g choke. When Shareaza is running it's almost impossible to check mail, browse the web etc. I have tried to reduce the nummer of connections in Shareaza to 64 but it does not help. Shareaza chokes the router even if it doesn't download or upload anything. If I shut down Shareaza, the problem goes away after a few seconds. It chokes the LAN connection not just the WLAN.
Is there anything I can do or should I just find a substitute for shareaza. :)

Thanks, Styrno, I've changed the number to 4096 but it does not help.

I'm running shareaza as well, with 2048 connections, no problems at all. I'm using the latest firmware from Oleg: 1.8.1.7-3.

Please check your system log for any problems. Also, if you've upgraded to a newer firmware, make sure you did that right: Upgrade with firmware restoration tool and do a 'reset to defaults' after upgrade.
