Hi !
First of all, I'm french and my english is not so good. Excuse me for that
I'm a recent user of wl500g.
I am connected to the internet with a freebox (permanent IP)
I have 2 PC connected to the wl500g. one with wire and the second (a notebook) without wire.

I can connect to the internet with both PC.
I can control the first PC with the notebook (I use VNC for that)

But, I can't see each computer in the windows explorer.

Before (without wl500), they were directly connected with a crossed RJ45 and in the same workgroup. This configuration works, I can transfert files from a computer to the other.

Have you enabled 'client for microsoft networks', 'file and printer sharing for microsoft networks' and 'netbios over TCP/IP' ?

yes, before I had the wl500, both computers were directly connect by wire.
I can transfer files from a computer to the second.
I didn't change anything about file and printer sharing

Check your windows firewall settings.

- do ipconfig/ all on both computers, note IP adresses
- try ping from both workstations to router and the other computer
- If this works try mapping your shares in Windows explorer using the IP adress. (something like "\\192.168.1.2\sharename" where sharename is the name you assigned to the share)

- If this does not help please supply some more info, OS, output of ipconfig on both shares, ......

Ok, It works... I have forgotten to disable the software firewall (kerio).
