Ethernet Modem Compatibility ?

Hello I am trying to use the WL-500g with a comtrend CT-361 ethernet modem but i cannot get a connection most of the time and when i get it, it stops after some minutes (connection reset by peer) and after that the status of the modem remains disconnected and that's it, nothing works...

Any hint will be appreciated.
