Wizd Media Streaming

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had some experience with the WIZD media streaming server (i noticed it has an ipkg).

I mainly wonder how it performs when streaming video. Is the playback choppy or not?

Works fine. I'm using it to stream video to a Netgear EVA and Pinnacle Showcenter. Audio playback is sometime a bit strange with the Pinnacle, but for the rest it works fine..

i don't think wizd works with sigma-based players though, like dlink DSM-520 etc.

I have two pinnacle showcenters and an eva 700 (which are sigma based with a syabas firmware) and they work just fine.
The only thing wizd doesn't do is transcoding of video, so you have to stick with the video and audio formats supported by your player.
