Hi,

I'm new to the community and I am trying to connect a usb hard drive to my wl500g Premium.
The problem is that if I do 'df' it doesn't appear. When I try 'ps' to see the active procecces 'stupid-ftpd' doesn't appear either.
At some point (dunno what i did) it suddenly appeard but worked on it and everything was fine. Rebooted the system and it was gone again.
I also tried to search for the stupid-ftp.conf-file but it doesn't seem to appear. And yes I do have the ftp server turned on. I'm using oleg firmware 1.9.2.7-7g. Does anybody have any ideas??

Thanks,
Stekke

Do you have installed any software?

Is your postboot configured, can you post it?

Hi,

I haven't installed any software. I also did not yet create a postboot script for my harddrive because it is not being automatticly detected, which I think it has to? The drive I created has already a swap partion and the other is a ext3 file system, both created with partion magic.

After some screwing around I found with fdisk that it does recognize the disk so I just went on with the mounting and it works fine now.

Thanx,
Stekke
