confusing wireless settings...

Hi all,
I'm working myself slowly through the settings in oleg's firmware, but some of the available choices are quite confusing to me.
For example, in the Wireless menu:
* if I set Authentication=WPA-PSK, I can select as WPA-encryption TKIP, AES, or TKIP+AES. What does TKIP+AES mean ? AES encryption, controlled by TKIP protocol ? Where is such a combination used ?
* furthermore, in the wireless page I can activate *BOTH* the WPA-encryption and WEP encryption (e.g., WPA-encryption=TKIP, WEP-encryption=64 bit). Can these 2 encryption standards be used simultaneously ?!?

AFAIK, it means that the client may negotiate the version of encryption it prefers. But not all at the same time.
