I see that I can create new shares under the Basic Config of Share Management. However, I can not see how to point that newly created "share" to a specific folder on either the Asus HD or the attached USB HD.
Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks!

you can connect to the hd in the windows explorer --> map network drive and then \\192.168.1.1\yourshare

you can't from wan,
if you want access from wan you've to go with ftp
i'm using vsftp version 2.0.5 from the unslug/optware ipk packages.
with this version you can define users and chroot them in dedicated folders.
directory browsing with many (>2000) files in a directory is also *MUCH* faster than with the asus modified vsftp app.
maybe this is what you want.
