after the last firmware-update, i wantet to make, my wl700ge got bricked...
i wanted to restore at least the data on the original harddrive, so i took filescavenger, but nothing was found - whether damaged sectors (and only some minor data, that looked like a ms-dos-bootdisk)..

i tried a little bit .. and a bit more .. and more, so now after 2 weeks, i got it back to live ... with a different harddrive (80gb ibm), but it runs again..
now i wanted to format the hdd via the netinferface, but the box says, cant format the systemdisk - and the disk is called "foreign disk"

has anyone any sollution for any of my problems please ?

gern auch in deutsch :D

follow the instructions there:

or there:

i think the internal hd (80gb) isn't right installed.

PS: that works with every hd that you put in if the hd is supported by the router.

supportted means only, that the router can recognize (recognice ??) the hdd ?

thank you

isnt there any way to et it formatted without changing the firmware several times ?
anything like an image, that i can put on the hdd while hanging in a computer ?

supported --> yes, that the router recognize it (someone here in the forum have tried a hd with 750 gig and it works...)

no, there is no other solution to format the hd without to put it out.
