Card Reader

I have printer with card reader Canon MP170 http://www.canon-europe.com/for_home/product_finder/multifunctionals/multifunctionals/pixma_mp170/index.asp

Is any chance to acces to data on bundled reader.

No card found (dmesg), but in most (light) distributions detected for first time like mass storage device.

no drives in /dev/

Can i install (insmod) some modules (mmc.o sdhci.o)?
