Hi all.
I've a problem with my ASUS WL-500g Premium Router. When I install the router software on my PC, and it's operational I've trouble with logging in.
I open a browser and enter the IP (192.168.1.1) and it asks for a username and password. By default it should be:
Username: admin
Password: admin
The strange thing is that it won't login. As if the username and/or password is wrong. I've of cause reset the router and it have been with no power but it still won't accept the code.
When I the first time got the router and installed it, it worked perfectly. Then I reinstalled my machine and have done it a couple of times since that and it were after the first install that the problem occurs.
Does anyone has a solution to this problem or experienced something like this, there have an answer. It is really frustrating not to be able to use your wireless router when it just sits there.
By the way. I should mention that, when I install the software I can connect to the router and use it wireless, but I can't install network printer, USB devices or open ports - so it's not much useful.
Thanks in advance
Bobo
