I'm having the frustrating problem of not being able to create a new non-root user for my apple share.
i make changes to /etc/passwd and /etc/group and reboot with the following command:
flashfs save && flashfs commit && flashfs enable && reboot
the changes are gone when i log in again.
does flashfs purposely fail to change these files?
edit: i tried changing my password in the web interface and that works. but there's no option for creating an additional non-root user. what should i do?
SORRY I just found the answer to this question here:
