Hi,

Just bought the 500gp and updated with the koppel.cz CDMA firmware so I could use my 3g (Telstra) USB modem.

Connecting to the net fine.

I'm now attempting to set up voip using my IP phone, but it appears that port 5060 is closed.

I've turned off my software firewall on my PC and turned off the firewall on the 500gp - but it's still closed.

Is there some setting elsewere in the firmware I need to modify - it's driving me crazy.

Thanks.

How are you determining that 5060 is closed? That is not an issue I have had with mine. I have had no trouble getting my SPA3102 to register with a sip server my trouble has actually been with the voip trafic itself. Don't think thats an issue with my router though more likely with the sip server I am trying to set up in the office.

The actual call doesn't use 5060 thats only for the signaling.

Have you looked in the WAN LAN filter section? Tried giving the phone a static IP and setting it as the DMZ host?
